A Word From The Director

As the founder and director of Early Childhood Learning Academy, my commitment to providing a high-quality, caring preschool environment is deeply personal. I believe effective leadership begins with being present and involved, which is why I continue to work full time in the classroom alongside our teachers.

Being actively involved with the children allows me to understand firsthand what is happening throughout the day and to stay closely connected with the needs of our children, families, and staff.

As a mother of three children who attended preschool, I understand the concerns parents may have when leaving their child in someone else’s care. Parents want to know not only that their child is learning, but also that they are comfortable, cared for, and that their everyday needs are being noticed and met. The little things matter here. Warming up a lunch. Reminding a child to drink water. Helping with clothing before going outside. Offering comfort during a difficult moment. Taking the time to listen is what makes ECLA home away from home.

Communication with families is easy, open, and personal. We use Brightwheel to share messages, photos, and updates throughout the day, and parents are always welcome to text or reach out to me directly during school hours or after hours whenever they have a question or concern.

Above all, I want parents to have peace of mind knowing that their child is surrounded by teachers who genuinely care about their well-being, growth, and happiness.

Sincerely,
Ms. Adidi
Founder & Director

“One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.”

Our Approach to Behavior

At ECLA, behavior guidance is rooted in care, respect, and communication rather than using punitive measures. Children are supported in expressing their feelings while learning important social skills through active supervision, strong connections, and positive reinforcements.
