Starting school can be a big adjustment. Our teachers provide extra comfort, attention, and reassurance while building trust and helping each child gradually feel safe, comfortable, and confident at ECLA.

We generally do not encourage parents to stay during the school day, as this can sometimes make separation more difficult. Before your child begins, however, we may arrange one or two short visits so your child can become familiar with the teachers, classroom, and school environment while having you nearby.

We use Brightwheel App to keep families connected through photos and updates. Teachers also communicate with parents at pickup and are always available to answer questions or discuss concerns. Parents are welcome to call or text us anytime.

ECLA serves children ages 2 to 5 years old, with activities and expectations adapted to each child’s age and developmental stage.

Yes. Our teachers assist with everyday needs while gently encouraging independence at a pace that is comfortable for each child.

Our days include a balance of circle time, early literacy and math, art and crafts, music, science, outdoor play, meals, rest, and free exploration. We maintain a consistent routine while allowing flexibility based on children’s interests and needs.

Outdoor play and nature exploration are an important part of every ECLA day. Children have generous opportunities to move, play, explore, develop coordination, and enjoy the natural environment.

Our approach is inspired by Piaget and Waldorf principles, with an emphasis on hands-on learning, imagination, meaningful routines, creativity, nature, and learning through real experiences.

Yes. We build strong foundations in early literacy, phonics, language, number sense, math, independence, communication, and social-emotional skills while keeping learning engaging and developmentally appropriate.

Teachers help children learn to express their feelings, communicate their needs, make friends, share, cooperate, solve conflicts, and develop confidence and independence. Teachers also learn to listen to and get to know your child in-order to build a lasting and trusting relationship while having clear expectations.

Yes. We share our weekly lesson plan with families so parents know what children are learning at school and can continue conversations and learning experiences at home.

Getting started is simple: Tour, Register, and Enroll. Visit ECLA, submit a registration form, and once it is received, we will provide the enrollment paperwork and guide you through the remaining steps.

We encourage families to meet our teachers, see the environment, ask questions, and get a feel for whether ECLA is the right fit for their child. Ask us about our free half-day trial.
